The special feature of my urns is their paper outer skin: I work with high-quality papers, lokta paper from Nepal and Carta Varese and Carta Fiorentina from Italy.
I use small pieces of paper to create new rhythmic structures on the body of the urn which, combined with the clear, simple shape, lend the urn a striking, animated appearance.
Do you have any questions or would you like to order an urn? Please use the contact form, give me a call or send me an email.

For me as an artist and designer, one particular source of inspiration are the transformation processes of plants and organic matter. My focus is on grappling with transience, for which I am constantly finding new aesthetic forms. Besides my artistic training (MAs in design and fine arts), I have trained as a grief counsellor (qualified through the Bundesverband Trauerbegleitung e.V.) since 2012 and am co-founder of the "Netzwerk Trauerkultur" (bereavement culture network), which started up in 2015.
